Well, school had started for about 1 week plus and i kind of Dislike it. Having a choice, i wouldnt mind working for Disney for another 6 months. Rather to study for this last, hectic, stressful semester. Damn! School in the States isnt like that at all.. Sometimes, i really feel demoralized studying in singapore. We have to work so hard before seeing the results, unlike education back in the States! :( *Sob Sob
Also, people here in Singapore are really collectivistic especially when it comes to grouping. I could still recall that when ask to group at UCF, we dont really care who we work with. Anyone is fine... and we are also okay with any groups we go to. Unlike Singapore, where we have people geting upset over grouping. Like what the americans always say... "Come on sweetie! Take it EASY!"
Hence conclusion, i personally feel that since the 'law' pass down by the director is to have random groupings.. Then just random lor~ so the unlucky wont call themselves unlucky to get group members they dont like or even having a free-rider on board. Should that be random and draw lots, i will bear with it even having a free-rider on board. Cos' it is draw lots/ random.. It's fair for everyone.
Well, some people are okay with random groupings while some aint. Lets view it in this way, we could work with more people whom we dont have a chance to work with when people stay in their comfort zone at all times! Since this is the last sem together, time to step out of comfort zone. Let bygones be bygones, come to school with an open heart and work well with NEW team-mates! :)
To talk about unluckiness, who is more unlucky than i do? i have her in like 2-3 modules lor! but i dont complian cos i think she might have changed for the better. Tie Yellow Ribbon on the tree for her! Give ex-prisoners a chance into this society again as they have might changed.. :):)
